UX/UI Designer

Does the idea of solving messy design problems with no clear solutions excite you? Would you like to work on a one-of-a-kind product using innovative technologies such as cryptography and blockchain?

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team to work on challenging design projects and shape the team’s design strategy. The position offers a monthly salary between $25,000 – $35,000 net (depending on the level of expertise, fit and experience) and competitive benefits.

Must-have requirements

1

3+ years of experience in designing software

You must have extensive experience working on fully-functional products (not just landing pages or pages built on platforms like WordPress or Squarespace).

Strong fundamentals in UX design

You must have knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

Proficiency in UX design tools

You can navigate your way through tools like Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD like a ninja.

Attention to detail

You are thorough and accurate in your design execution.

Strong fundamentals in visual design

You have a good handle on composition, typography, hierarchy and use of color as it applies to product design.

Strong analytical skills

You are able to take complex problems, break them down and solve them systematically and creatively.

Extra points if you have:

  • Experience conducting user research experiments or interviews
  • Hands-on experience with CSS, HTML and Javascript
  • Knowledge of design thinking or other user-centered design methodologies
  • Experiencing building or working with design systems
  • Excellent visual design skills as applied to illustration, interaction design, multimedia work, or editorial work.
  • Experience collaborating closely with the development team
